2.09 Priorities
- Student teaching must take precedence over other commitments and responsibilities.
- Extra course work, extra-curricular activities and co-curricular activities, employment, and other outside commitments must be limited. To participate in activities and/or be employed during student teaching, the candidate must consult with the Admission and Retention Committee and abide by the Committee's recommendation.
- If at any time during the placement it is observed by the university supervisor that these activities are interfering with the performance of the teacher candidate, the Admission and Retention Committee will review its recommendation.
