2.06 Course Assignments During Student Teaching
2.06 Course Assignments During Student Teaching
- During student teaching, the candidate is required to submit written assignments as outlined in the Seminar syllabus and the student teaching syllabus, and as are determined by the individual majors, program coordinators, and university supervisors. These assignments are considered in determining the Seminar and student teaching grades.
- All licensure programs require successfully completing and meeting threshold scores of the edTPA (education Teacher Performance Assessment) in order to receive a passing grade for student teaching. Receiving lower than benchmark scores results in the candidate resubmitting one or more of the edTPA tasks. Refer to the document UNW Protocol for Completion and Submission of the edTPA for additional information.
